The Deal4Good VET Handbook on Social Public Procurement (PR3) is a practical training resource for vocational education and training (VET) providers seeking to integrate Social Public Procurement (SPP) into their training offer and deliver it effectively in real learning environments.
Rather than simply explaining what SPP is, the Handbook helps trainers turn the Social Procurement Expert (SPE) curriculum into engaging training sessions, practical exercises and meaningful learning outcomes. Building on the outputs of the Deal4Good project, it translates the project’s knowledge and resources into practical guidance for use in classrooms, workshops, blended learning and work-based learning settings.
The Handbook is designed with real-world training conditions in mind. Learners may have limited time, different levels of experience and little or no previous knowledge of procurement or social impact. At the same time, trainers may have limited access to real-life procurement cases, local examples or other practical resources. To address these challenges, the Handbook provides flexible, adaptable and practice-oriented guidance that trainers can tailor to different learner profiles, training formats and institutional contexts.
Whether you are introducing SPP for the first time or strengthening an existing training programme, this Handbook provides practical tools and guidance to help you deliver relevant, engaging and impactful learning.
